Increased use of MBs and smart phones in children may harm their technical efficiency.
This was revealed in the report of an Australian educational institution.
The institution found in its report that since 2011 there has been a 'significant decline' in IT literacy among some children.
According to the report тАФ children have learned different skills on smartphones and MBs, which is different from the technical skills required at workplaces.
The report stated that these declines may be due in part to changes in technical studies in schools in Australia.
Apart from this, the report also said that the changes in the equipment can also be due to these changes.
This report from Australia's National Assessment Program is based on two groups of children.
One group was of children who had just completed primary education and the other group was of children who were in the fourth year of secondary school.
10,500 children participated in this study. The report compared the digital literacy survey of 2011 to the end of 2014.
According to the report-both groups of children have seen significant decline in terms of technical literacy during these years.
