For tourists, Grega Silk, who runs a bike and bike service near Bohin Lake, about an hour away from the capital, Ljubljana, says that at first people used to stay behind the rest of the world.

In 1906, tunnels were erected through explosions at festivals in the region of Austro-Hungarian Empire. The railway line along the water route also reached there. Through it the mined northern city of Jasenik was linked to Trist Port in the south.

The area of ​​Bohin is geographically far away analogue. It remained part of the communist country Yugoslavia for many decades. Slovenia occurred independently in 1991 and it joined the eurozone in 2007.

But the pace of life in this part of the world has not caught pace.

In this area even today houses of wood, scattered villages, shepherds are found.

Every year in September, villagers congregate on part of this lake and traditionally dance and sing.

At such a time, Silk and I reached the area by bicycle. We saw only one or two bicycles in this area.

We started cycling cycling near the Ribkev Lodge and looking closely at the St. John the Baptist Church.

Silk pointed out, "It is a very mysterious church. No one knows that it is very old. It would have been there before the 15th century. The internal graffiti of this church knows no meaning."

It features the white devil sitting on the shoulder of Adam and Eve's son Kane, while the photographs show vampire-like pointed teeth.

Silk suggests that such a mixture of Christian dogma is formed in traditional beliefs.

Adjacent to the church is a cylinder-shaped yellow colored statue of a deer with golden horns. In the afternoon light it looks like a real deer.

After cycling for 20 minutes from the church we reach Devils Bridge. The story about this bridge is prevalent among the common people that the devil himself built this bridge and the cost of starting it decided that he took the soul of the first creature to cross it.

According to this story, the villagers, while showing tricks, first let a dog cross this bridge.

Each region has its own story here. There are as many stories as your imagination can work with.

There are also many wild flowers and plants in the area. Between white clouds and blue skies, this area is actually where you come and forget everything.

Silk told that Agatha Christie also comes here, but she did not write anything at this place.
