Parents’ smartphone use could harm child development

While smartphones have made our lives easier, they come with their own set of drawbacks. A new study has found that mothers devote only 25 per cent of their attention to their toddlers while using smartphones, a practice which may impair child development. The research believes the findings are applicable to fathers as well.
