As per UP govt. act no 15 of 2016 to provide for establishment of a Medical Sciences university by the name of Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences by the transfer of Uttar Pradesh Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research and associated Dental services, Para medical College, nursing college & college of the pharmacy at saifai.

We all know that good health and good sense are life's greatest blessings. Good health plays a crucial role in the life of a human being. An unhealthy person won’t do anything fruitful in his life. Preservation of health is indispensable. It is confined to natural’s laws involving body, mind and environment. These laws relate to fresh air, sunlight, healthy diet, regular exercise, yoga, meditation, relaxation, enough sleep and cleanliness. There are many factors that affect a person’s health that can be physical, biological, psychological, and social stress.
T.D. Medical College is the 1st Medical college in the state which was started under Private Management . This Medical college is situated in the suburban area of Vandanam, 9 km south of the Alappuzha (previously Alleppey) town, facing the NH 47, in Alappuzha district of Kerala State, South India. The initials T.D. stand for Thirumala Devaswom, which in Sanskrit means belonging to the Lord of Thirumala, since this Medical College was started in 1963 under the patronage of the T.D. Temple at Anantha Narayana Puram of Alappuzha.
Originally established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament (Act 52 of 1980). The joint culture of medicine and technology that the Institute pioneered more than three decades ago has come of age and gained unprecedented acceptance in India.
MGM Medical College (MGMMC), Indore was established in 1948. Residency surgeons accompanied the European and the native troops who were stationed in the region.The institution became famous in a short span of time and Dr. Impey constructed a building exclusively for female patients.
The medical college is also known as MGMMC, Indore and is one of the oldest and the most prestigious educational institutions of the state
