Being a developing nation, health and hygiene are mainstays in terms of national priority. With so many people living below the poverty line, statistics reveal that unhealthy living conditions will lead to disease and epidemics, unless a proactive approach by the medical community is put into action. Keeping these in mind, Dr. M.G.R. University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences was established.

Aravind Eye Care System is a WHO collaborating centre with a mandate to design and offer training programmes to eye care personnel at different professional levels from around the world, in the development and implementation of efficient and sustainable eye care programmes.

Aravind’s training programmes cater to all levels of ophthalmic personnel – these are intended not only for ophthalmologist but also for ophthalmic technicians, opticians, clinical assistants, outreach coordinators and health care managers.  Aravind offers several structured training programmes.

On 25th January 1926, a Trust under the name of ‘P.S.GOVINDASWAMY NAIDU & SONS’; came into being to cater to the growing needs of education and industry. Coimbatore opened a new chapter in its history.

To understand the genesis, growth and objectives of the trust, it is necessary to travel back in time and visualize the social, educational and economic scenario of India in general and city of Coimbatore in particular.

Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute is an off-campus constituent teaching unit of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Puducherry. Accredited by NAAC with ‘A++’ grade.

Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth Deemed University declared under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and listed under section 12B of the UGC Act, 1956.

Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital (JIMSH) is a renowned and leading multi-specialty hospital located at Budge Budge, Buita, Kolkata-700137. Since its establishment in the year 2016, it has been successfully serving people from West Bengal as well as from other states. JIMSH has been committedly working in the medical field to foster patient care with advanced medical approach.

Muzaffarnagar Medical College is promoted by Trust – Fateh Chand Charitable Trust and the Trustees are among prominent academicians, politicians and businessman. Trust is preliminarily taking initiative for the benefit of the society with the objective to provide and promote education in the field of Medical and Health Care services.

Treasurer is Shri Gaurav Swarup, Secretary is Shri Sanjay Gupta and  Vice Chairman is Shri Raghav Swarup .
