Established in 1921, T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital had recently celebrated its centenary year. The occasion was blessed by the presence of Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Uddhavji Thackray. Being a first medical college and Hospital in India, run by Indians for Indians, it has set various landmarks in its glorious journey of 100 years.

Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was created under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. It played a stellar role in the independence movement and has developed into the greatest center of learning in India.

Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) is a quaternary care multi-specialty hospital. The medical Centre was founded as a teaching hospital of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in 1985, with the intention of translating the experience and expertise in medical education into tangible and affordable health care to the community. It was founded by Late NPV Ramasway Udayar in 1985.

Inspired by the ideals of Sri Aurobindo and the mother, this institute is an embodiment of devotion and selfless service. It is promoted by Bhandari group of hospitals that has made a mark of its own in central India. The group provides reliable and affordable medicare to every strata of society, from those below the poverty line to the elite class.

HISTORY

Sassoon General Hospitals is a large state-run hospital in Pune, India with 1296 beds. It is affiliated to the B. J. Medical College and a Nurses training School. Sassoon Hospital caters to 9,426,959 population of Pune District- a 2nd most populous district in the State of Maharashtra.

The Jewish philanthropist David Sassoon from Mumbai made a generous donation to make the construction of the hospital possible in 1867. The hospital could originally accommodate 144 patients.

Govt.Medical College, Kozhikode( Calicut medical College) is a premier medical college located in the city of Kozhikode in Kerala. It was established in 1957 as the second medical college in Kerala. Since then the institution has grown into a premier centre of medical education in the state. The vast and sprawling Medical College campus is spread over an extensive area of 270 acres (1.1 km²) and is located about 8 km east from the heart of Kozhikode city. It was formerly affiliated to the University of Calicut and now to the Kerala University for Health Sciences (KUHS).
