Ranked among the top 10% of Universities in India, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is NAAC “A” Accredited and has received numerous National and International Awards. The University has over 58 MOU’s with excellent infrastructure and an environment for research-driven learning. Spread across a lush green 250+ acre campus, the University has 14 faculties offering more than 220 programs, a 1000 bed multispeciality hospital, Libraries, fully equipped laboratories, hostels, auditoriums, banks, creche, stadium, cafes, and other recreational centers.
“Saraswathi Ammal Educational and Charitable Trust” (SAECT), Chennai, under the leadership and guidance of Dr. J. Ramachandran, Chairman of the Institute, started Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences in Hapur in the year 2008 to fulfill the objective of making it a premier institute of medical teaching and a centre of excellence for providing the best and affordable medical care to the community.
Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was created under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. It played a stellar role in the independence movement and has developed into the greatest center of learning in India.
Belagavi has got special place in Karnataka as it is one of the largest district. The original name was “VENUGRAM”, gradually the name was changed to Belugram then Belugavi and finally Belagavi.It was ruled by Kadambas, Yadavas, Vijaynagar and Bahumani dynasty.Adil shahi rulers of Vijaypur, Marathas of Kolhapur and British people, hence Belagavi was ruled by many dynasties. Many people from nearby states like Maharashtra and Goa have settled here, so different cultures can be seen.
Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Khan a great visionary, philanthropist, a social reformer was born on 6th September 1935. Though he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but his eternal desire to serve the poor and needy Indian Muslim Community made him to choose a life full of battles and challenges. He was graduated from Stanley Medical College, Chennai and studied M.S. in Madras University. His contribution in the field of education, health care, Banking etc. in the form of Al-Ameen Movement can mesmerize anybody.

Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) is a quaternary care multi-specialty hospital. The medical Centre was founded as a teaching hospital of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in 1985, with the intention of translating the experience and expertise in medical education into tangible and affordable health care to the community. It was founded by Late NPV Ramasway Udayar in 1985.

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences University was established under Section (3) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956 on 29th September, 2003 by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development vide its notification No. F.9-11/2000-U-3.
