Brief History:
Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Medical College, Rajkot was started in June 1995. It now admits 150 (100 Recognised and 50 Permitted) students per year and is the fastest growing medical college of Gujarat with the target of providing sub speciality education in 15 branches of Medicine & Surgery. It is affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot.
The Civil hospital complex at Rajkot actually has the following hospitals with a total inpatient capacity of 750 beds.

Geetanjali Medical College And Hospital, Udaipur was established as a part of the Geetanjali University, Udaipur. The college was initially started with an intake of 150 students. Later, other postgraduate, diploma and superspeciality programmes were also introduced. The college is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore was started in 1955, and initially, it utilized the clinical facilities of the Government Wenlock Hospital and Government Lady Goschen Hospital. The Medical College became an independent unit in 1977. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India, General Medical Council of Great Britain, and the Malaysian Medical Council. Mysore Medical College was established in June/July 1924. It is the oldest  and first medical college started and has made a lot of progress.

The processed ‘good’ should be a high quality, sincere, dedicated and compassionate fellows. At the same time they should possess state of Art knowledge of Medicine and capable of withstanding the competition in the field. We don’t produce patient examination machines but good human beings who render necessary moral support to the patients and relatives in addition to the treatment needed.

Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences (SVCPMS), a unit of Ramachandra Educational Trust was established in 2010 and started B.Sc (MLT) course with an intake of 12 students and currently the seats have been increased to 30 students per annum with the effect from the academic year 2017-18. SVCPMS is a sister concern of the ‘State of Art’, Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, 830 bedded Tertiary Care Hospital in Ariyur, Puducherry. SVCPMS is now expanding its aura in the field of paramedical sciences.
