Our Founder
Fr Muller was sent to India from Venice as one of the 8 Jesuits to teach French and Mathematics in the newly opened St Aloysius College, in Mangalore. He was not only a product of Fordham University in USA, but also homoeopath, trained under two of the most eminent doctors in Paris. He even possessed the secrets of manufacturing quality homoe medicines. His name as a physician spread when he successfully treated students under a banyan tree in the College for a variety of ailments and soon elders too joined a long line of patients.

Established in 1921, T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital had recently celebrated its centenary year. The occasion was blessed by the presence of Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. Uddhavji Thackray. Being a first medical college and Hospital in India, run by Indians for Indians, it has set various landmarks in its glorious journey of 100 years.

INSTITUTION HISTORY

Banaras Hindu University is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 with cooperation of great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was created under the Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915. It played a stellar role in the independence movement and has developed into the greatest center of learning in India.

Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) is a quaternary care multi-specialty hospital. The medical Centre was founded as a teaching hospital of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in 1985, with the intention of translating the experience and expertise in medical education into tangible and affordable health care to the community. It was founded by Late NPV Ramasway Udayar in 1985.
