OVERVIEW

Kakatiya Medical College was founded in 1959 by the Warangal Regional Medical Education society with the active support of then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, the Director of Medical Services of A.P and the Warangal District Collector to provide medical education for register of the Telangana region of the state.

THE PROMOTERS

Muzaffarnagar Medical College is promoted by Trust – Fateh Chand Charitable Trust and the Trustees are among prominent academicians, politicians and businessman. Trust is preliminarily taking initiative for the benefit of the society with the objective to provide and promote education in the field of Medical and Health Care services.

Treasurer is Shri Gaurav Swarup, Secretary is Shri Sanjay Gupta and  Vice Chairman is Shri Raghav Swarup .

Founded in 1926, the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC) and the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital are amongst the foremost teaching and medical care providing institutions in India. The medical college (school) provides training to about 2000 students in undergraduate, postgraduate and superspeciality medical courses; in undergraduate and postgraduate physical and occupational therapy; Masters and PhD courses in various allied specialties. A nursing school is also maintained by these institutions.

Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) is a government medical college located on the lap of Agartala, the capital city of Tripura. It is at Kunjaban near the Malancha Niwas, home of the Manikya Dynasty in Agartala. The college is attached with the G. B. Pant Hospital, which is the hospital of the college. It is completely run by the Government of Tripura.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) is a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) established in the year 1997 as Central Referral Hospital. The first batch of MBBS students were enrolled in the year 2001.

A long cherished dream of a Medical College at Madurai the Temple City – came into reality in the year 1954 with the great efforts of the National Leader late Thiru K. Kamaraj.
  
Thirumathi Rajkumari Amrit Kaur, the then Hon’ble Minister for Health, the Government of India inaugurated the Institution on 2.8.1954 at the old Taluk Building at the Fair Weather road, Madurai.

Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute offer one of the most forward-looking educational environments in medicine in the country. The college is dedicated to training doctors of various branches of medicine as experts in clinical skills and knowledge thereby applying it for the welfare of the community. The institution and its teaching hospital are located in a sprawling green campus located right on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway (NH 16).  It is 23 km from the Vijayawada city the biggest Railway Junction in South India and just 5km away from Vijayawada Airport and everyday air flights are available from Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and New Delhi cities.  The campus is well connected by road by Chennai, Kolkata highway number.  The Institute and Hospital was established in Rural Area in Krishna District covering the population around 30 lakhs.
