Melbourne | Today's birds were the diners of yesterday, this thing seems a bit strange. But a study has revealed that dinosaurs can turn into birds during the evolutionary process of five million years.] The ancestor of today's bird is theropod species of dinosaurs.
Only this species of dinosaur was successful in maintaining its existence, as it continued to shrink its size.
Michael Lee of the University of Adelaide, Australia said, "Birds evolved from the unique process of miniaturization of dinosaurs.
The ancestors of birds developed many adaptations including wings, wishbone (a bone found in birds) to maintain their existence in nature. Lee said, "It was only through conversions brought in during evolution that it managed to protect itself from the dangerous meteor impact, while killing all the dinosaurs."
